We recently stayed at the St Panteleimon Beach Hotel and have provided a separate review on the hotel but noted that the restaurant which is open to non-residents and attracts good local trade, has not often been reviewed in its own right, so this review hopefully goes some way to redressing that. The restaurant is contemporary with tables both inside and out. The staff are very pleasant and attentive and the service was prompt and efficient. The food was competitively priced (we ate at other local restaurants during our stay so we had the basis for comparison). We really enjoyed the food particularly the carbonara and pizza’s, the menu was very varied with a wide selection of starters, mains and some delicious desserts and the service was both efficient and friendly. The only negative was the cost of the wine, the food is cheap in comparison to restaurants in the uk , however the cost of the cheapest bottle of wine was 30 lev which was nearly three times the cost of one main course. We would highly recommend this restaurant to both residents and non-residents of the hotel and would have been quite satisfied should we have eaten there all holiday.
